Saftey and Money

Every employer wants their employees to be safe because it saves a lot of money. But for an employee to be safe it is wise to invest in the safety products before something does happen. Just because it is wise to invest in this equipment does not mean you have to spend a lot of money. Visit some websites such as tasco-safety.com for the best prices and selection on the safety equipment you need.

Where Does the Money Come From

I read and watch the news when I can and there is one thing I see a lot of. On how Barack Obama lengthened unemployment and increases this and that all this while our deficit soars to new heights. I wonder where all this money comes from. Sure some of it comes from taxes but a very small portion as the tax money mostly pays for expenses of running the government and social programs. All this extra stuff including the war, who pays for all this?

If I were a bank I wouldn’t cash a check for the federal government or give them a loan because I know they have no money. Some people speculate the money comes from China. If this is true I am not thrilled with the idea.

Anyone have any ideas.

In a Good Place

It is one week for before payday (actually since our payday falls on Thanksgiving, our actual pay day is Wednesday) and I am in a good place with my money. I paid for the all the stuff I have to. The only thing I didn’t do was start Christmas shopping. We were supposed to do that today but I wound up taking a nap instead and since someone has to be here for Sunshine when she gets home from school. I figured we can run tomorrow morning and do a little shopping.

I am also thinking of buying some things off the internet for my daughter because there is some things she wants that I can’t buy in stores and sometimes the internet is a much cheaper place to find the stuff she wants. I do have to buy a turkey yet for the holiday and some of the fixings but that shouldn’t cost me too much because we have most of the stuff here.

All in all, I think I have plenty of money to make it next week and plenty of money for shopping and holiday food.

It has been a good week, just haven’t felt like spending money these past couple of days.

Let the Christmas Shopping Begin

It is official I have exactly four paychecks before the big day and that means I will start Christmas shopping this paycheck. It worked pretty well last year, every time I got paid I would spend $50 and no more. Then the first paycheck in December I would spend the most and finish up the odds and ends Christmas Eve. Last year the odds and ends were my parents and I bought their gifts after Christmas.

I guess your next question is will I be shopping on Black Friday? Are you freaking crazy. I work in retail and if I didn’t have to be there I would be there. I don’t go into work until 11 am on Black Friday and I am not crazy enough to stand in line, get beat up for some stupid item. Stuff isn’t worth it. I don’t even see what the big deal is about Black Friday. Yes, there are some really good deals but like I said I am not crazy enough to shop on Black Friday especially for the big times 5-7 am.

Most of the stuff I plan on buying probably won’t even be on sale. So there you go, my method works and I still have money left over from my paycheck. Hey we don’t need a lot of stuff especially toys since she doesn’t play with them too much after Christmas.
