Business Loan

Published by J Scott under loans and mortgages

I have been working on starting up my own little business. Okay maybe I should be working harder than I do. I may only be trying to start a dot com and yes it is relatively inexpensive to start. Domain name cheap, hosting, pretty cheap. I have my brain. I have several reams of fancy paper and I have my prices set. What I don’t have is a lot of extra capitol for the advertising. Advertising can really get the business going.

Maybe I should get a Business Loan from ezunsecured.com where they offer because it is fast and easy and quality service. They offer more than business loans as well, they also offer credit cards, loans and lines of credit.

Something to look into if you are in the market then check out ezunsecured.com.

Lasik Eye Surgery

Published by J Scott under health websites

I really hate wearing glasses. I don’t mind wearing contacts but sometimes I am kind of lazy and don’t take the lenses out for days and then my eyes get irritated. FDA Lasik has come along and I think it is pretty reasonably priced. Even so, you are still going to want to have a great surgeon working on your eyes.

Usaeyes.org is the place to start for lasik surgey. This is a patient advocacy group and does not preform the surgey. However, they certify surgeons by their criteria and it must be tough because less then 250 doctors across the nation are certified by Usaeyes.org. Plus there is a lot of information about the procedure and message boards where you can talk with others who have had the surgery.

If lasik is something you considered before than start at USAeyes.org for info and search for a certified doctor near you.

Protecting Your Name

Published by J Scott under credit

In this day and age there seems to be a growing number of identity theft. Perhaps of the various ways criminals can get your information. Think for a moment, those pre-approved credit card things, you know the ones that say you are eligible to receive $5,000 credit. Of course mail in general you throwout random stuff everyday your name and other identifying items on it all the time. Another way criminals gain your information is good old fashioned wallet stealing. Anymore people have a lot of credit cards, check cards, maybe the social card, driver’s license you get the idea. People don’t have to physically have the cards just the numbers and they can destroy you. And the last way is theft of your information from the computers/ Internet. No matter how safe you think a site or a company using a computer system is, hackers are always devising new ways. But before you pull the plug on your life and live on a mountain top there is a service to protect our name and our credit.

This is a service that guarantees your name up to one million dollars. So what is the service and how does it help me? lifelock is service that helps you stay protected from identity theft. This is how they do it, first they go to the main credit reporting bureaus and put a security lock on your credit which means when someone wants to look at your report they have a lot more hurdles to clear. Another thing they do is remove your name from mailing lists so no more pre approved junk mail. Finally, if you lose your wallet or it is stolen they have you covered with Wallet Lock.

Everyone who has a social security number should look into this. Children aren’t even safe from thieves. Don’t worry Lifelock has you and your family covered.

Be safe and have a nice day!

Economic Stimulus Rebate Checks

Published by J Scott under money news

Hello all, I wanted to share this with everyone because I think many people are receiving the rebate checks from Uncle Sam. I went to the IRS website today for all the information (irs.gov). Remember you must file a 2007 return to get the rebate and make less than $45,000 and more than $3,000. If you are on Social Security (retirement, disability, survivor), railroad retirement, veterans and you don’t normally file taxes do so this year because you may recieve this money as well. This is the pay out for single $300-600, married couples $1200 and one child equals $300.

If you think you may recieve something then you might want to check out the payment calculator be sure to have a copy of your 2007 return handy as you will need it to punch in figures. This will definitivly tell you what you will get if any at all.

If you already know you are receieve something the payout will be determined on two things: the last two digits of your social security number and if you had direct deposit or check. To determine when your money will be sent to you either by direct deposit or check you can look at the payment schedule.

Remember you must file a return for 2007 by April 15 of this year to have your money this year. There is a boat load of free efile sites through irs.gov and the only requirement is you make less then $54,000. It is free, I use the service and if you get a refund it takes less time. Don’t worry if you are tax stupid like me all the free sites are easy to use and they do everything for you. I used H&R Block free efile and everything on my end was data entry.

Have a great night!
