Healthy Moola

I must be living in the stone age but when I think of free programs,  I think of freeware or shareware. Sometimes those programs were not as a great quality of the original but it was free so that was a plus. Searching on the web for free programs for my computer,  I came across a lot hits for open source programs. And all this time I am using 2 different open source programs: Wordpress and Firefox,  I just added 7zip to replace stupid PK Ware that did a crappy job of unzipping my wordpress files. I love wordpress, it is so versatile and user friendly.  I can’t say enough good stuff about Firefox, a lot less errors than Internet Explorer since I have an older computer I can’t upgrade to IE 7 so I can do so much more with Firefox. 7zip my newest addition works just as well as winzip that comes installed with windows.

What is open source? All the licenses are open source which means you can change the programming of a program if you so chose and the program is created with quality and can make the programs you pay for shiver in their boots. So what does have to do with anything? Open Source is FREE and that can save you so much money!
