Freelance Writers Home Dot Com is Not Worth It

Browsing through Craig’s List for some quick writing gigs when I came upon an ad for blogging and creative writing gigs. So I write an email and I get this invite freelancewritershome.com and I could make all this money. And because this was a special deal, I could try risk free for 7 days for $3. So I try it. I should have known it was junk most of the listings came from other freelancing websites which I would have to pay to make a bid on a project. Other blogging jobs came from jobs.problogger.net a free job board where bloggers can go looking for work. Okay I am so canceling my membership. It was not worth the $3 so it is not worth the $37 they will want to charge me.

I figure if I wanted to pay for a site, I would elance or them other freelancing websites. Perhaps I should clean up my writing and polish my resumee and put a profile on linked in. I can search for freelance jobs for free since I know where to go so why use this service. Don’t do it. Oh yeah and they say you can make all this money which is bull because more than half of the jobs are those crappy I need 150 articles 400 words a piece and I will pay a buck an article. What a load of garbage, if you have good grammar then anyone should make more than that. I get these people are on tight budgets but maybe they should try writing the content themselves.

If you are going to spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars on a plasma television then spend the extra money and buy a high quality plasma stand. I know if I bought a plasma television, even a small one, I would buy a stand for it because I think it will look nicer and offer more security.

I think we can agree that the body is healthy when the whole body is healthy including your teeth. If this is true what makes no sense to me is that many employers do not offer a dental insurance which leaves many people not going to the dentist because it is expensive. I know just for a check up, the boyfriend paid $60 can you imagine if he had a cleaning. Anyway if you are with out adequate dental insurance you maybe interested in dental discounts from FACT (The federation of American Consumers and Travelers). Doing Well on Cell Phone Costs

I mentioned that I got a plan for my cell phone. And for $30 I get 300 anytime minutes and 1000 nights and weekend minutes. And with another two weeks to go I still don’t have to buy time. Those thousand minutes are really saving me the money because I work a lot on the weekends and I will never get to use the thousand minutes before the month is up.

I am glad that I got this plan it is so nice not spend money every time I get paid because it was costing me way too much money. Now I am I have a little more money to spend on food or whatever else we need in between paychecks.

I Could Use Something New

It’s odd but I don’t buy anything new for the house well at least not decorative type things. I don’t know why that it is. If I would buy anything extra for the house it would probably be lighting fixtures, especially ones that look nice, inexpensive and will be able to use the compact florescent light bulbs. In my opinion, you could never have enough light in the house.

Charging You to Pay With a Credit Card

The other day I paid the water bill using their online service. Come to find out they charge an additional $2 just to pay with a credit card online. What bull crap. I had to run to the bank and deposit the fee into my bank account so I wouldn’t have a bounced check. I don’t know many companies that charge an additional fee just to pay with a credit card.

I know I don’t. Paypal charges me to accept payment regardless if it is credit card or not. I absorb the cost because I don’t see the need to pass on the service charge to my customers. I think all it does is rip off the customer and that is not very good customer service. Of course it is the water company and they are owned by a corporation which means they are out for money. Of course that is obvious for how much they charge a month.
