People dream of running their own business and working for themselves. In my opinion a good way to start a business is opening a franchise. The reason for this because people have seen advertising for the franchise and is a known name. Also since advertising is done as a collective you reap the benefits. So where do you start? If a franchise is what you want to try the you should look into franchise consulting from Match Point. Here is a company that tries to find the best franchise for you and your goals. If starting a franchise is a dream for you then make Match Point Network your first stop.

I really thought starting an online business would be kind of easy: buy domain, create website and the people will come. Okay well people do come to the website but they don’t part with their money. I know my prices are reasonable because I did my research. Much of my traffic comes from other writers so why would need to buy a poem? Maybe it is the economy is playing a part. Also I should spend some time creating a sale and advertising it as well. I don’t spend enough on my business as far as time and try my hand at social networking. Other people have success with that venue. We will see, I could use some advice to make it work.

Is this a good idea or bad since the government just spent $700 billion dollars on the fledging lending and insurance industry. Of course, the big three automakers are only asking for $25 billion dollars. How do we know that if the government does help the industry that they will pull themselves out of the hole, that they will not lay off more workers? If they get this money they should spend it on redesigning the face of American cars, making more environmentally friendly models that are reasonably priced.

I don’t go shopping for new cars but some cars are expensive. Where I live the houses are so cheap you can buy a house for the same price as buying a brand new dodge sedan. Crazy. My opinion on the whole thing, I normally would say not to help them but then again I said not help the credit market either so why not help the auto industry. Really this country goes through money more than oil. No one in office cares on how they spend my tax dollars so why start now?

Hello all, I must apologize for the lack of updates lately. As some of you may know I am working a lot of hours because of Thanksgiving. Good for the wallet bad for blogging. I must confess, I spend a lot of time writing about saving money and this past pay I have been very naughty with my spending and being very wasteful. I don’t know what happened. I should exercise more self control than I have been. Lucky for me, my next pay is next Wednesday because I am supposed to be paid on Thanksgiving but of course it is Thanksgiving.

My heel pain has increased ten fold. I am considering buying those Dr Scholl’s massaging gel insoles and see if that helps any. There are days when I go to lunch and sit for an hour, the pain is so severe that I will actually limp for a few minutes until the pain subsides. I noticed that soaking in a hot bath helps some but I can’t always soak in a hot bath especially when I am at work. I never had this much trouble before, I wonder what it is going on.

I will try to update more often. Have a nice night.

So the whispers are becoming real words as opposed to whispers. According to Walletpop. com there may be more money coming our way. If you are like me and didn’t get a check this year because you made too much or too little money from your 2007 tax year and the situation changed in 2008 then you may get something. This is great news for me because in 2007 I fell about $350 less than the three thousand dollar threshold.

Since I been working at Wal-mart, I have already made over $1,000 and I made close to $2,000 from self employment. What the IRS will use will be the 2008 numbers which mean you might get a credit when you file taxes for 2008 and this could mean more money. While I am not sure of all the details this in one peice of economic news that I will be following closely and see what happens.

As far as those who did recieve rebate checks this past spring and summer I am not sure if those monies will be deducted from your 2009 refund. Various news websites have different information on that. Some say you don’t have to pay it back and some say you do. We will all know in January when the IRS updates the website with current tax law and 1040 forms for 2008.

Have a money saving day!

Oh well I will probably have money left over for the next pay because I am working so much. I noticed when I work a lot I don’t spend as much money and that is a good thing.

I am starting Christmas shopping tomorrow night. I figure on spending 20-30 each pay and then using my sponsored post money for the rest. When I am at work, I pick out some stuff Sunshine will like and then plan accordingly.

Have a great day.

Whoever said “your home is your castle” is so true as the home is your biggest asset and is your castle. Considering many people are with their homes for close to thirty years, why not really make your home like a palace. Some people opt for someone professional to come in and construct crown mouldings and other wall adornments. The question I have is why? When you can visit invitinghome.com and buy mouldings and Corbels and when you buy them you can even learn how to install them in your home, saving a boat load of money in labor. Inviting Home offers architectural and home decor products as well as advice and ideas on using these products.

At first I didn’t know what Corbels were but I check out the site and discovered they are decorations made from wood that accent counters and bars. They look like little columns and can make any counter look exquisite.
Here is an example of a Corbel that Inviting Home offers. This particular one is called Los Angeles Counter Corbel.

Inviting Home has a interesting and engaging blog where you can click on a product and learn more about the product and even learn about ideas on what to do with the product. There is even advice about shopping for products they offer. There is also an inspiration guide where you can browse through pictures and get your wheels turning to create your own palace.

What I like about the site it is fast loading and there is a lot of information to go through. Also it easy to navigate through the site. Check it out today if you are looking to spice your home but don’t want to pay the high cost of carpentars and handymen to do the work for you.

I cna’t help but to think of Christmas as I work in retail, but have you started shopping for Christmas or will wait and see if the government will give out another rebate check? Today we went to some stores because I have no idea what Sunshine wants for Christmas. She picked out some things that she would like to have, at least now I have an idea of what she will like.

I will start Christmas shopping with this paycheck buying one or two gifts for Sunshine. I am also going to save a majority of my sponsored post money for Christmas shopping. I figure if I start early, that shopping wont be as stressful as it can be.

One year I started a job and got my first paycheck on December 23. I worked until midnight and I went to Wal-mart cashed my check and bought everyone’s presents for Christmas in the middle of the night. I really don’t want to be one of those shoppers this year.

Have a good shopping season
