Finance Your Restaurant Dreams

Are you dreaming or have you ever dreamed of owning a restaurant? I thought about opening a coffee shop complete with the poetry night and open mike night. Of course a coffee shop is just a small restaurant but a restaurant nonetheless. So how does one find the financing for a restaurant business. If you have a rich uncle, you could try him or you could get Restaurant Finance from Advance Restaurant Finance.

I went and checked out the site and here some benefits of financing through them you can still apply for financing even though you may have bad credit, easy to apply, some persons may not even need collateral, flexible terms of the loan, plus much more. It is very simple to apply for financing all you need is to fill out a credit application then fax your most recent bank statement and three months worth of credit card statements.

If you need more information, don’t worry you can talk to a real person since I know sometimes it is just nicer to talk to a real person then do everything by yourself. So why not check out the website for loan details and other information and see if Advance Restaurant Finance is a company you should deal with.

Cash for Your Clunker

Sometimes, I am out of news loop, so this is an interesting concept by Obama and democrats based on the European model. Many of you heard of it, it is called “Cash for Your Clunker” an effort to get people driving better fuel efficient vehicles, you can either get a $3500 voucher or a $4500 voucher depending on your vehicle and what you buy. This sounds too good to be true because I got to thinking, could I trade in my 86 Mercury Lynx for a used early 2000s vehicle and not a pay a dime. NO

This voucher goes to the purchase of a new vehicle. So that leaves me out because no one will give me an auto loan for two reasons my income is pathetic and my past credit (although it is improving I am still a high risk). Of course, you would think the dealers would have a influx of used cars for sale. This is also not the case as these cars will be junked.

There are some regulations and conditions about this bill so we will see if it gets passed. I do like the idea even though it will cost $4 billion dollars, anymore 4 billion doesn’t seem that much when it comes to government spending. It won’t help me get a newer car but I will wait for the trickle down of used cars that have better gas mileage to come on down.

For more information and answers to your questions check out this article on USA Today How the Cash for Clunker Will Work

My question to you is do you plan on using this program if it goes through and you are eligible

Buy a New Sink and Save Money

I really don’t like shopping Lowes or Home Depot but when I am in there I am amazed the exuberant prices for a sink and not even a fancy sink for that matter. I would sooner keep the sink I have then buy one from there. Of course there are other options as well such as if I needed a sink then I would give a thought to buying one from MR Direct.

MR Direct sells undermount sinks. What is an uundermount sink? Well I didn’t know either but these sinks are mounted flush with the counter top. Think if a sink is mounted flush with the counter top doesn’t that mean a better seal and perhaps a long life of your counter and sink, saving you money in the long. There are two types of materials these sinks are made from 16 gauge stainless steel (according to their website thicker than stainless steel sinks on the market and they are charging for money). With stainless steel, you will have the durability and eternal beauty of the sink well after you leave your home. They also make a granite sink from earth friendly materials and the granite sink comes with silver ions which kill just as much bacteria as those fancy cleaners thus saving money on the cleaners.

If it were me I would buy stainless steel because I just like silver so much.

Craig’s List Annoyances

I am looking to make some quick cash, so I put an ad on Craig’s List and I am selling homepage links for $5 which is a pretty good bargain in my opinion. Anyway since I put the ad up I keep getting these odd ball emails with weird phrases. So I replied to one just to see what would happen and then I get this strange email right away from someone who wants me to join some personals website. What the heck, now even Craig’s List is not free from scammers and spammers. I should have known there weren’t real people because I put in the ad to email me directly and I post my email address, these emails are being routed through Craig’s List.

I know there people out there to make a buck or two but I think there are better ways than spamming someone who puts a classified ad on Craig’s List. Wasn’t there some killer or something that was going on because of Craig’s List.

I don’t think I will use Craig’s List again after my ad runs out because the emails are annoying as hell and they are spammers.

Living in the Big Apple

I am still thinking about fame, being a famous writer and all. I know one thing is certain no matter how awesome it would be, I would never buy a place in New York City. Don’t get me wrong I love New York City, I love the way it smells and the way the whole place feels alive.

If the Big apple is calling you and you can’t ignore the calls anymore you might want to check into cbsrem.com for NY condos for sale and learn about the current market in New York City from a trusted news source. Use the interactive map to find the location you were thinking about living in and go from there. You can also search rental listings, new development, and also search sales listings.

Before you buy or rent or invest make sure to check out the website and make an informed decision on real estate in New York City.

Decided to Play with Turk More

It’s been months since I used TURK but since I knew I would need a little extra money because of Sunshine’s birthday I decided to see what was new. Yes, there is a lot of things that are dirt cheap but in the last couple of days I made $7.25 for doing about 10 minutes of work. Some are decent if you have your own blog you can make a quick post and get paid right away. These are the ones I am always looking for because the money is rather instant. Other posting places you have to wait at least some.

I took a couple of surveys and something else that didn’t make much time. I need $10 to cash out from Amazon to my bank account so I am almost there. The good thing is I already paid all the bills that are due, bought all the food we need until I get paid again and there is a full tank of gas in the car which should last for 4 or 5 days so I am just gathering some money for gas and food expenses until I get paid which is a week from tomorrow.

So not too bad.

PCI Compliance

Do you run a business? Do you run a business which accepts credit cards? Do you know that the card industry also known as Payment card Industry (PCI) issued standards in which all merchants should follow? I personally don’t have to worry about this since I do take credit cards but paypal is my credit card processor and I am sure they are already compliant. If this is the first you heard of it then keep on reading. To be compliant with the new standards will mean better security for your customers and their personal information. Most people use and accept credit cards now and being compliant means that you care about their personal information.

So what is the cost of becoming PCI compliant? Well it depends on what company you go through. If you visit the Braintree Payment Solutions website, you can learn more about becoming PCI compliant and what your options are as a merchant. This is something worth checking into.

If you are looking for accounting San Diego than look no further then Allan and Barron.
